Waiting for goat babies

Barringer went home tonight and it’s just my girls.  They should be all bred and pregnant and I should have adorable goat babies this spring.  I am SO EXCITED!

  1. hey there, it’s calamity from permacurious. just came to check you out. awesome blog. yes, you really are crazy. in the best of ways.
did you find permacurious from my blog, or from erica’s (nw edible)?
great post about date nights. i know that point where you realize that whether you have time or not, date night HAS to happen. a good marriage trumps everything else, it’s the basis of everything else.
i can’t believe you wash all your clothes, including diapers, by hand.
oh, and i love your bi-line/subtitle. perfect.

Hi! Thanks! LOL I like being crazy, normal would be so boring. : ) I actually found Permacurious from Rachel’s blog (Dog Island Farm), but I think I saw it on Erica’s too and said to myself “I NEED this!” and joined.

I have to confess, I tore a muscle my shoulder so I got the washing machine fixed two weeks ago. I’m glad I had the experience of doing it and still hand wash some of our stuff but not all of it. I’ve decided every family in the world should own a washing machine. It’s SO much work to hand wash laundry for five people!
